Activity - Junior and Middle School
Activity is a structured play time which runs for 30 minutes in the middle of the day on a carousel with lunch and DEAR. Pupils select their activity on a termly basis, with priority being given to pupils with the highest behaviour payslips. Examples of activities are as follows:
- Football
- Basketball
- Dance
- Board games
- Art
- Music
- Debating
- Crafts
- Coding
In Middle School, if a pupil is late to school in the morning, they forfeit their activity time and do a detention instead. If pupils are part of a sport activity, they must have the correct equipment in order to take part.
Enrichment - Middle School and Upper School
Middle School
Enrichment in Middle School happens once a week for just under 1.5 hours on a Friday afternoon from 14:30 to 15:50 (some clubs that involve travel may overrun). The chances of pupils being allocated their first choice activity are increased having a high YTD payslip average and a silver or gold wristband. Some activities may require a whole year commitment from pupils whereas other may be changeable on a termly basis.
Pupils earn enrichment on a weekly basis by achieving an end of week total of 75 KSA pounds or higher. This is tracked throughout the week and final totals are made official on Friday morning.
