Our Year 8 Kings Scholars cohort were hosted in Kings College London University’s Strand Campus for the Design a Workshop Day. The day started off with our Scholars being broken up into groups and learning about universities and pathways. This led to the main task of the workshop: to create a university of your own! By the afternoon, each group created and presented their university to the judges (teachers and ambassadors of Kings College London). The groups came up with many creative ideas including the winning group: a university that supports refugees and integrates them into society. Pupils were given an exclusive tour of the campus and had a successful day - well done Year 8!
