Our Business Studies BTEC Extended Diploma course continues to be one of the best in the country with 100% of the cohort achieving D*D*D*, D*D*D or D*DD (equivalent of 3 A*-B grades) Every pupil met or exceeded their university offer and they are all heading off to great unis including UCL, Reading, Queen Mary and Birmingham to study subjects ranging from business related courses to computer science, law and even urban planning.
Harry achieved the perfect set of A level results with three A*s in maths, further maths and physics. Sulaiman achieved three A*s and an A and they’re both off to UCL, Harry to study maths and Sulaiman to study biomedicine. Amongst multiple other pupils achieving straight A and A* grades, Malik is going to Queen Mary to study dentistry, Youna is going to King’s to study medicine, Mohammed is going to King’s to study economics and Zainab is going to LSE to study International Relations and History.
It is great to see students feeling confident to leave London too heading off to Sussex, Swansea, York, Southampton and Manchester.
We are also thrilled to confirm multiple students successfully securing places on a degree level apprenticeship, for example, Ayaan who is headed to Ridge on an engineering apprenticeship and Angela who is going to train in quantity surveying.
It is a major investment we make, when pupils join us aged two, three or four into our Early Years Provision to commit to enabling children to reach their goals over their whole primary and secondary school education in our very special all-through school community. King Solomon Academy Principal, Beth Humphreys, said, “We’re so proud of our Sixth Formers today. There are so many stories here of students who have worked exceptionally hard and taken every opportunity we have given them. Some pupils have been with us since they were three years old in our nursery, others joined our team and family just for sixth form. I’m so excited to see what they will go on to achieve as they head off into the world. They are such powerful role models for the rest of our school community.”
