Reception Local Walk

On Friday 11th October Reception children went on their first trip! As part of our topic ‘All About Me’ we explored patterns and buildings in the local area. We began with a walk along Church Street market, then took a ride on the tube around to Paddington where we looked at the canal boats. We looked for signs of autumn in St Mary’s Gardens, the children challenged themselves to find the biggest autumn leaf! We just about managed to escape the heavy rain and the children showed beautiful behaviour and manners, a credit to themselves and their families. Daniya said, “I loved the bit where we saw the boats because there were lots of colours!” Kenza added, “My favourite thing was the ride on the train it went really super fast!”
