Frontier cohort of KSA pupils are going to university!

Thursday 18 August 2016

We are extremely proud of The Class of 2016 and we finish results day with 94% of the year group headed off to a university of their choice in the autumn and 81% of pupils achieving their places at either their firm or insurance choice universities. We have pupils enrolled on a range of courses from Biomedical Sciences to English Literature and Creative Writing and at a range of universities: many pupils will be London based at UCL, Goldsmiths, LSBU Queen Mary or Royal Holloway; others are travelling further afield to Warwick, Liverpool, Leicester, Sussex, Keele, Reading and many more!

Shakeel was top of the class achieving A*, A,A,A ensuring he can go to UCL to study Chemical Engineering. He is “really excited, can’t wait for what the future has in store.” Sinem was over the moon to find out she has got into her first choice course at her first choice university, studying Politics and International Relations at Warwick. She said, “it’s been my dream since Year 7, my first class was called Warwick when I first came to KSA and we spent a week there in Year 7 on a residential.” Rudaba and Radwan, who are going to Sussex and LSBU respectively said, “we’re so happy, we go to this amazing school and it’s been an adventure and we want to thank everyone for all the support – we’ve made it to university! We’re happy and really grateful to everyone for everything they’ve done for us. It’s been a long seven years – a tiring seven years – but we’ve done it!”.

Congratulations to everyone in The Class of 2016. We are also really pleased with The Class of 2017’s AS results and we look forward to getting into the detail of the UCAS process with them in September!
