Mind

Sofia and Tanya are our Mental Health Support Team (MHST). They work with, and in, King Solomon Academy to promote good emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. They are part of the mental health charity Mind. They offer support in treating mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. We endeavour to support young people and their families through prevention, early intervention and education. Find out more in our website here.

Place2Be

Francesca is our Place2Be School Project Manager. Place2Be is a charity working in schools to improve the emotional wellbeing of young people. There is a Place2Be room inside the school were young people can go to express and think about their worries, through talking and creative work. Haddy supports young people by helping them to find ways of coping with difficulties, so they can focus on their learning and building friendships. Parents and carers of young people in Place2Be schools can access free advice, resources and services as part of our mental health support for the whole school. Find out more here.

West London Zone

We enjoy a partnership with West London Zone, specifically supporting two cohorts of pupils, one on YYS and one of OYS, to build relationships and skills to get on track socially, emotionally and academically to thrive into adulthood.

Katie is our West London Zone Link Worker on Older Years Site and Tilly is our Younger Years Site Link Worker. Katie and Tilly work with thirty-five pupils each. They support these pupils by designing and facilitating a personalised two-year programme for each child and working with them to help them reach their full potential. You can find out more about West London Zone here.
