KSA enjoys first Summit Celebration

On 15th September King Solomon Academy celebrated its first Summit Ceremony, where the school paid tribute to the hard work and achievement of their founding cohort, the class of 2016. The event, attended by Nick Gibb MP, and various other local leaders as well as the governors of the school was a special moment for all the community. The audience heard the Class of 2021 play and recognised the academic achievements of years 11-13, but the stars of the event were the founding pupils. Amongst them, Rudaba Shah, spoke with conviction and passion about her journey through KSA and encouraging the current pupils to strive to continue their journey to university. Rudaba ended her speech: “The climb may be tough, but the view from the top is priceless”. We were honoured to welcome Nick Gibb MP who encouraged the graduating class to go out and “write your own chapter” in the story of their lives.

This Autumn, the graduating class will head off to a range of universities, including Warwick, UCL, Reading, Swansea, Queen Mary’s, Aston and Sheffield. We wish them the best of luck in the next stage of their lives.
